How do I book pet sitting or dog walking services?

Scheduling pet care has never been easier! You can book our services anytime through our mobile app or online client portal for a seamless experience. Our user-friendly portal allows you to schedule visits, receive real-time updates from your sitter, view photos of your pet during their visit, and conveniently pay invoices after services are completed.

What type of pets do you care for?

We care for just about any type of animal. We have experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, goats, turtles, reptiles, ferrets, guinea pigs, gerbils, rats, birds, and more! Have a unique animal? Just ask us!

Do I get to meet my pet sitter or dog walker?

One of the benefits of hiring Berks Pet Care is that we work as a team. This means we have backups available in the event the sitter assigned to your visit has an emergency. This also allows for your pets to have more friends!

We do offer the opportunity to schedule a FREE meet and greet before we begin service so we can meet your pets, learn about their routine, and answer any questions you have. Your visits will then be shared amongst the team! But don’t worry, we are in constant communication with each other and our clients throughout the day with our mobile app.

How do I know my pet is in good hands?

Our pet sitters and dog walkers are background checked for your safety. We invite you to check out our many online reviews to get a feel for what other clients think about our services.

Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?

As a professional pet sitting and dog walking company, we are fully licensed, bonded and insured for your protection. Before hiring any pet sitter or dog walker, you should always ask for proof of licensing and insurance.

What areas do you service?

Our service areas include Wyomissing, West Lawn, West Reading, Reading, Exeter, Flying Hills, Mohnton, Shillington, Wernersville, Sinking Spring, Muhlenberg, Temple, Laureldale, and Mt. Penn.

We sometimes can make exceptions if you live close to one of these areas, please contact us to see if we can help!

Do you offer overnight pet sitting?

We do not offer any overnight “sleepover” stays, but do provide visits to your pets throughout the day and evening to ensure they are happy and healthy! With 13 years in business, we have found that pets just sleep through the night – and are perfectly happy when we leave in the evening and arrive in the morning the following day!

What are your payment terms?

We do not require any payment upfront before scheduled visits. We want our clients to be happy with our service, and payment is required after the last visit is completed. We do require a credit card to be kept on file in our app before any scheduling is allowed, including our free meet and greets, for our safety. We accept all major credit cards.

What is your cancellation policy?

When we book your services, we reserve exclusive time for you and your pets. However, we know plans can change and sometimes the unexpected happens. Our pet sitting routes are planned out and cancellations can disrupt scheduling and efficient routing.

Scheduled pet sitting services must be cancelled a minimum of 48 hours prior to scheduled service. Failure to provide 48 hours notice will result in 50% cancellation penalty of total amount due. Any cancellations with less than 6 hours notice will not receive a refund.
